If you can breathe, you can do yoga.
If you're a yoga beginner, public classes can be an intimidating environment! I know how it feels to look around a yoga class and feel like you're doing something "wrong." Private or semi-private lessons can be a wonderful way to get all your questions answered and build your strength and confidence. I love teaching yoga beginners, and have my 200-hour teaching certification from the amazing Flow Yoga Center in Washington, D.C.
I can also teach beginning meditation. I've had a meditation practice since 2012, and have spent more than three weeks on silent retreat at the Insight Meditation Society.
Please get in touch with Ellen if you are looking for a yoga instructor. I'm of retirement age, and sought her out to learn how to stretch my tight hip muscles. Having never done yoga before, I was surprised and pleased at how much I learned. She put me at ease with her knowledge of yoga and her calming and supportive spirit. My hips (and whole body) feel so much better!

You create such sacred space for your students! The practice was incredibly calming, and your voice is sturdy and soothing.
